Tour Plan

DAY 1:

  1. Board your flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi) to Hanoi in Vietnam.
  2. Upon your arrival at the Hanoi airport, complete the immigration process and meet our local guide who will welcome you.
  3. Later, board your transfers to your hotel in Hanoi and have some rest.
  4. In the afternoon, start your half-day city tour from Ba Dinh Square, the heart of Hanoi where cultural and political events take place.
  5. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh, where you will see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, house-on-stilts, pond, and the Japanese One-Pillar Pagoda.
  6. Next, visit the Temple of Literature, considered the first university in Vietnam.
  7. To get an overall view of the city, take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the "Sword" Lake.

DAY 2:

1. Wake up to a delicious breakfast at your hotel and prepare for an exciting day ahead.
2. Today, drive 90 km south of Hanoi to the historic site of Ninh Binh, the ancient capital city of Vietnam.
3. Take a boat ride through the stunning series of Tam Coc Caves, known as "Halong Bay on Land," where huge limestone karsts dot the river amidst lush paddy fields.
4. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
5. Continue your adventure by visiting Hoa Lu, the site of the former kings' palace from the 10th century.
6. Marvel at the intricate wooden reliefs of the Dinh and Le temples that stand tall to this day.
7. Conclude your exploration of Ninh Binh with a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda, a serene and peaceful place that will leave you in awe.

DAY 3:

1. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, prepare for check-out.
2. Transfer to the airport (without a guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam.
3. Fly to Saigon and meet your local tour guide outside the airport, who will assist you in boarding your transfer to the downtown area.
4. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up.
5. Start your city tour by visiting the War Remnants Museum, one of the historical attractions in Saigon.
6. Learn about the struggles of the Vietnamese people for freedom and explore war-related exhibits, including photos, weapons, and documents.

DAY 4:

1. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
2. Board transfers to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.
3. Explore the 200 km underground network used during the Vietnam War.
4. Watch a short introduction video about the tunnel construction.
5. Crawl into a short section of the tunnels to experience the narrowness and heat.
6. Visit various aspects of the tunnel system, including trap doors and command centers.
7. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
8. Head back to Saigon for leisure time.

2. Board your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Saigon) for your onward journey.
