Tour Plan
Day 1:
- Board your flight from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Mumbai) to Hanoi, Vietnam.
- Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, complete the immigration process and meet our local guide who will welcome you.
- Board your transfers to your hotel in Hanoi and take some time to rest.
- In the afternoon, start your half-day city tour from Ba Dinh Square, the heart of Hanoi where cultural and political events take place.
- Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, house-on-stilts, pond, and the Japanese One-Pillar Pagoda.
- Next, visit the Temple of Literature, considered the first university in Vietnam.
Day 2:
- Wake up to a delicious breakfast at your hotel and prepare for an exciting day ahead.
- Drive 90 km south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, the ancient capital city of Vietnam.
- Take a boat ride through the stunning Tam Coc Caves, often referred to as “Halong Bay on Land” due to the massive limestone karsts dotting the river amidst lush paddy fields.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
- Visit Hoa Lu, the site of the former kings' palace from the 10th century.
- Marvel at the intricate wooden reliefs of the Dinh and Le temples that still stand tall today.
- Conclude your exploration of Ninh Binh with a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda, a serene and peaceful site that will leave you in awe.
Day 3:
- After breakfast at the hotel, prepare to check out.
- Transfer to the airport (without a guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the most dynamic city in Vietnam.
- Fly to Saigon and meet your local tour guide outside the airport for your transfer to the downtown area.
- Check into your hotel upon arrival and freshen up.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore some major landmarks of the city on your own, such as:
- War Remnants Museum
- Reunification Palace
- Notre Dame Cathedral
- Central Post Office
- In the evening, enjoy a shopping spree at Ben Thanh Market.
Day 4:
- After breakfast in the morning, get ready for the day.
- Board your transfers to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.
- Upon arrival, explore this historic site, which features a 200 km underground network used during the Vietnam War.
- Watch a short introduction video about the tunnel's construction and have the opportunity to crawl into a section of the tunnels to experience their narrowness and heat.
- Visit various aspects of the underground network, including:
- Trap doors
- Storage facilities
- Weapon factories
- Field hospitals
- Command centers
- Kitchens
- After returning from the tunnels, stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
- Head back to Saigon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5:
- After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a countryside exploration of Vietnam.
- Board your transfers to My Tho, known for its coconut production and family factories producing local products like coconut candy and rice paper.
- Upon arrival, board a scenic boat to explore the Mekong Delta and witness the vibrant local life.
- During the boat ride, enjoy a stopover to taste local tropical fruits while listening to traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
- Visit small canals shaded by coconut trees, traveling by local small boats to see the factories.
- Stroll through the gardens to observe how locals produce coconut candy and feed honeybees.
- Don’t forget to try the popular honey tea.
Day 6:
- Enjoy breakfast in the morning and pack your bags.
- Board your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Saigon) for your onward journey.
