Tour Plan

Day 1:

  1. Arrive in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
  2. Meet your local tour guide and transfer downtown to your hotel.
  3. Check into your hotel and freshen up.
  4. In the afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, where significant cultural and political events, including demonstrations, take place.
  5. Start your visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the outside), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda.
  6. After the Ho Chi Minh complex, head to the Temple of Literature, recognized as the first university of Vietnam.

Day 2:

  1. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  2. Depart at 9 AM for a 3-hour drive to Halong Bay, passing through the Red River Delta, green paddy fields, and rural villages along the way.
  3. Arrive at Halong Bay and check into your overnight cruise.
  4. Witness the beauty of Halong Bay, designated a Natural World Heritage site by UNESCO.
  5. Enjoy lunch on board the cruise.
  6. Visit the grottos, with opportunities for swimming or kayaking, and pass by floating houses and islets to admire their beauty.
  7. Attend a cooking demonstration before dinner on the cruise.
  8. Spend the evening at leisure or participate in activities on the cruise.
  9. Enjoy an overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 3:

  1. Rise early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the islets of Halong Bay, known as "Eastern Sea" in Vietnamese.
  2. Enjoy a delicious breakfast on the boat before continuing the cruise.
  3. Marvel at the unique islets with names like Sail Island, Fisherman's Head Rock, Butterfly Rock, and Turtle Islet.
  4. Check out of your room and have brunch on board while the cruise returns to the pier.
  5. Disembark from the cruise and transfer back to Hanoi.
  6. Check in to the hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
  7. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 4:

  1. After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  2. You’ll be transferred to the airport (without a guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam.
  3. Fly to Saigon and meet your local tour guide upon arrival.
  4. Transfer to the downtown area and check into your hotel.
  5. Freshen up before starting the city tour at the War Remnants Museum, one of the historical attractions in Saigon.
  6. Learn about the struggles of the Vietnamese people for freedom and peace, as well as the local perspective on the Vietnam War.
  7. Explore the exhibits that serve as evidence of the war, including photographs, weapons, and documents, which highlight the heroic actions of the Vietnamese people.

Day 5:

  1. After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Cu Chi Tunnels.
  2. Arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels, a significant historical site featuring a network of 200 km of tunnels that were operational during the Vietnam War.
  3. Explore the tunnels, which include trap doors, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.
  4. Watch a short introduction video on how the tunnels were constructed and take the opportunity to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to experience the oppressive narrowness and heat inside.
  5. After returning from the tunnels, stop for lunch at a local restaurant (at your own cost).
  6. Return to Saigon, where the afternoon is free for leisure, shopping, and sightseeing.
  7. Overnight stay in Saigon.

Day 6:

  1. Enjoy leisure time after breakfast before checkout.
  2. Checkout from the hotel.
  3. Transfer to the airport with the driver (no guide).
  4. Fly back to your sweet home.
