Tour Plan

Day 1:

  1. On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP), you will be greeted by our representative.
  2. From the airport or railway station, board our vehicle for Darjeeling, one of the most popular hill stations in India.
  3. Enjoy a scenic drive through the curvy mountain roads, with breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas in the background.
  4. As you approach Darjeeling, you'll notice the roads lined with aromatic tea plantations, enhancing the charm of this beautiful destination.
  5. Upon reaching your hotel in Darjeeling, check in and relax for an overnight stay.

Day 2:

  1. Your day will start early at 4 AM as we take you to Tiger Hill for an unforgettable sunrise view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its adjoining peaks, which change colors as the morning sun rises.
  2. After enjoying the sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast and refresh yourself for the day ahead.
  3. Later, embark on the famous toy train ride of Darjeeling, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 2-hour journey will start from Darjeeling, with a 25-minute stop at Ghum Station before returning via the scenic Batasia Loop.
  4. At Batasia Loop, enjoy a 10-minute stop at the Army Memorial dedicated to the Gorkha Regiment, where you can admire the 360-degree panoramic views of the Darjeeling hill station and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
  5. After the toy train ride, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays) to learn about the history of mountaineering in India and see Tenzing Rock.
  6. Next, head to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays) to see endangered Red Pandas and other fascinating Himalayan wildlife.
  7. Enjoy a relaxing ropeway ride over lush green tea plantations, offering stunning views of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks.
  8. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, where you can meditate and soak in the serene atmosphere.
  9. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 3:

  1. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Darjeeling and prepare for a scenic transfer to Pelling, a charming town located in the west of Sikkim.
  2. Upon arrival in Pelling, check in to your hotel and get ready for a half-day of sightseeing.
  3. Start your exploration by visiting India’s highest skywalk, which features the impressive 137-foot Chenrezig statue and offers breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga ranges.
  4. Next, delve into the history of Sikkim by visiting the Rabdentse Ruins, where you can gain insight into the region's glorious past.
  5. Conclude your day’s sightseeing with a visit to the Pemayangtse Monastery, where you can seek blessings from the local deities and experience the tranquility of the area.
  6. Return to your hotel in Pelling for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's beautiful experiences.

Day 4:

  1. After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim.
  2. En route, we will take a short stopover at Ravangla.
  3. In Ravangla, visit Buddha Park, which features a magnificent 130-foot-high Shakyamuni Buddha statue, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and scenic views of the Himalayan ranges.
  4. Continue your journey toward Gangtok, traveling along scenic roads that offer breathtaking views of the Teesta River.
  5. Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay, ready to explore the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of this enchanting city.

Day 5:

  1. After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day excursion around Gangtok.
  2. Our first stop will be the glacial Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, famous for its stunning beauty and changing colors throughout the seasons.
  3. Next, we will drive to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a revered soldier of the Indian Army.
  4. If conditions permit and at an additional cost, you will have the opportunity to hire a taxi to visit Nathula Pass, an important Indo-China border post.
  5. After a day filled with breathtaking sights and experiences, we will return to Gangtok for an overnight stay, reflecting on the beauty of the landscapes we’ve explored.

Day 6:

  1. Post breakfast in the morning, get ready for your transfer to Kalimpong.
  2. Enjoy a scenic drive along the meandering mountain roads that follow the Teesta River, leading you to Kalimpong, an offbeat hill station in West Bengal with a rich history.
  3. Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check in to your hotel, and then head out to explore the area.
  4. Your first stop will be the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, located on Durpin Hill and consecrated by the Dalai Lama, where you can soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
  5. Next, visit the Jelepla viewpoint, offering stunning views of the confluence of the Teesta, Relli, and Reang rivers, framed by snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
  6. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Deolo Hill, the highest point in Kalimpong, which provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

7. Return to your hotel in Kalimpong for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's beautiful

Day 7:

  1. Wake up to a beautiful morning in Kalimpong and enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
  2. After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
  3. Your tour concludes as you are dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
  4. Board your train or flight back home, taking with you fantastic memories from your trip.
