Begin in Kathmandu with a visit to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest in the world, where spinning the mani wheels fosters a deep spiritual connection. Witness the mesmerizing evening aarti at the revered Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the sacred Bagmati River.

Next, embark on a scenic road trip to Pokhara, stopping at the Manakamana Temple, believed to fulfill wishes, accessed via a thrilling cable car ride. In Pokhara, the breathtaking surroundings of lakes and mountains captivate you. Start your day with a sunrise at Sarangkot Hill, offering awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas.

Explore Pokhara’s gems, including the Bindabasini Temple, Devi’s Fall, the sacred Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and enjoy a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake. A visit to Taal Barahi Temple on the lake’s island wraps up this enriching experience.

Tour Plan

DAY 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu | Pashupatinath Temple

  • Upon reaching Kathmandu Airport, our representative will greet you at the airport and you’ll be taken away to your hotel and check-in
  • In the afternoon, you visit Boudhanath Stupa, a massive mandala and one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. Walk around it, spin a prayer wheel, and soak in the spiritual energy.
  • In the evening you get to witness the aarti at Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines for Hindus. 
  • Later, head back to the hotel and relax.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

DAY 2 - Kathmandu to Pokhara Via Manakamana Temple 

  • After breakfast, you hit the road towards Pokhara—get ready for scenic beauty all around. But first, a quick stop at the Manakamana Temple.
  • Reach this revered temple via an exciting cable car ride, and don’t forget to make a wish here—it’s believed they come true!
  • You then continue your drive to Pokhara, a city known for its charming lake and stunning mountain views. 
  • Check into your hotel with a refreshing welcome drink and unwind for the night.
  • Overnight stay in Pokhara.

DAY 3 - Sarangkot Sunrise | Pokhara Sightseeing

  • Today, you rise before dawn and make your way to Sarangkot Hill to watch the sun slowly light up the towering Himalayas, casting golden hues on peaks like Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. A sight that will stay with you forever.
  • Return to hotel for a filling breakfast, dive right into the city of Pokhara:
  • Make the first stop at Bindabasini Temple, the oldest temple in Pokhara. It is a small and peaceful temple dedicated to Maa Bhagwati. 
  • You then move ahead to Devi’s Fall, a  mysterious waterfall that seems to disappear underground— a natural wonder!
  • Right across Devi’s Fall is the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a cave that hides a sacred temple within its depths you can reach through the long spiraling staircase.
  • Make sure to take a little peep down into this deep, narrow gorge at Seti River Gorge carved by the milky white Seti River.
  • You end your day with a relaxed boat ride on the Phewa Lake, visit Taal Barahi Temple, situated on a small island in the middle of lake Phewa (personal expense).
  • The rest of the day is yours; explore, relax, or just take in the lakeside charm of Pokhara.
  • Overnight stay in Pokhara.

 

DAY 4 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

  • After a leisurely breakfast, make your way back to Kathmandu.
  • Enjoy the scenic drive, reflect on your adventures on the way!
  • Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy a laid-back evening—perhaps a stroll through the streets to soak in Kathmandu’s night-time charm.
  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

DAY 5 - Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel, and our representative will transfer you to the airport.
  • Bid goodbye to this land of temples, mountains, and jungles, and carry home memories that’ll last a lifetime.
  • Tour ends.
