Tour Plan
DAY 1 - Bangalore Arrival to Hampi
- Arrival at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station in the morning/afternoon by flight/train.
- Transfer to Hampi, a 6-hour journey through scenic Karnataka landscapes.
- On arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax after the journey.
- Explore the local market: Stroll through the bustling markets of Hampi, where you can find local handicrafts, traditional textiles, and souvenirs.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 - Hampi Sightseeing
- After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing in Hampi.
Sightseeing Points:
- Virupaksha Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this is one of the oldest functioning temples in India, featuring intricate carvings and towering gopurams. The temple complex is located along the Tungabhadra River and offers stunning views of its surroundings.
- Lotus Mahal: A beautiful blend of Indo-Islamic architecture, this structure is shaped like a lotus in bloom. It was once used by royal women as a place for relaxation.
- Vittala Temple Complex: Famous for its Stone Chariot and Musical Pillars, this is Hampi’s most iconic monument. The temple complex is an architectural marvel with grand pavilions and intricately carved pillars.
- Monkey Temple (Anjanadri Hill): Located atop a hill, this temple is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The climb offers panoramic views of the Hampi landscape.
- Elephant Stables: A massive structure that once housed royal elephants, showcasing an impressive example of Indo-Islamic architecture.

DAY 3 - Hampi to Chikmagalur Transfer
- After breakfast, depart for Chikmagalur, a 7-hour scenic drive through the Western Ghats.
- Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax after the long journey.
- The rest of the day is free for your leisure. You can explore the peaceful surroundings of your hotel or relax after the drive.

DAY 4 - Chikmagalur Sightseeing
- After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Chikmagalur.
Sightseeing Points:
- Seethalayanagiri: A small hill station located en route to Mullayanagiri, offering serene views of the Western Ghats and lush forests. It’s a great spot for nature lovers and photographers.
- Mullayanagiri: The highest peak in Karnataka, standing at 6,330 feet. You can drive up to Seethalayanagiri, after which a short trek will take you to the peak. The panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys are breathtaking.
- Dabdabe Waterfall: Known as the "Buttermilk Waterfall," this is a beautiful spot hidden amidst dense forests. A short trek leads to this natural wonder, which cascades down rocky cliffs, offering a refreshing experience.
- Baba Budangiri Hills: These hills are named after the Sufi saint Baba Budan, who is credited with bringing coffee to India. The area is famous for its scenic beauty, caves, and pilgrimage significance.
- Manikyadhare Waterfall: A picturesque waterfall that flows throughout the year. It’s believed that the water here has healing properties, and the spot is popular among locals and tourists alike.

DAY 5 -Chikmagalur to Coorg Transfer
- After breakfast, drive to Coorg (approx. 4 hours).
- On arrival, check-in to your hotel and rest.
- Spend the evening exploring the local market of Coorg, famous for its coffee, spices, homemade chocolates, and traditional Kodagu products.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6 - Coorg Sightseeing
- After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Coorg, known for its lush coffee plantations, cool climate, and scenic beauty.
Sightseeing Points:
- Omkareshwara Temple: A unique temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring a blend of Gothic and Islamic architecture. The temple’s central dome and four minarets give it a striking appearance.
- Abbey Falls: A beautiful waterfall nestled amidst coffee plantations and spice estates. The sound of the water cascading from a height of 70 feet makes for a peaceful retreat.
- Madikeri Fort: Built by the kings of Coorg in the 17th century, the fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Inside, you’ll find a palace, a museum, and a chapel.
- Dubare Elephant Camp: A popular tourist attraction where you can interact with elephants, feed them, and learn about their daily routines. The camp is located along the banks of the Cauvery River.
- Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery): One of the largest Tibetan settlements in India, this monastery features golden statues of Buddha and intricate murals depicting scenes from Tibetan mythology.
- Honnamana Kere Lake: The largest lake in Coorg, surrounded by mountains and coffee plantations. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers, with boating facilities available.

DAY 7 - Coorg to Mysore Transfer
- After breakfast, depart for Mysore (approx. 4-hour drive).

- Overnight stay in Mysuru.
DAY 8 - Mysore Sightseeing
- After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing in Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka.
Sightseeing Points:
- Mysore Palace: One of the most magnificent royal palaces in India, this architectural marvel showcases Indo-Saracenic architecture with intricate carvings, stained glass windows, and grand courtyards. It’s a must-visit for its stunning interiors and historical significance.
