Tour Plan

DAY 1 - Bangalore Airport / Hospet Railway Station - Hampi

  • Arrival: Arrive at Bangalore Airport or Hospet Railway Station in the morning/afternoon.
  • Transfer to Hampi: Embark on a 6-hour journey to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient temples and ruins.
  • Hotel Check-in: Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Take some time to relax and refresh.
  • Local Market Exploration: Spend your evening exploring the local market, where you can shop for unique handicrafts and local delicacies.
  • Overnight Stay: Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 2 - Hampi Sightseeing

  • Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Full Day Sightseeing: After breakfast, set out for a day of exploration in Hampi.
  • Sightseeing Points:
  • Virupaksha Temple: Visit this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, renowned for its stunning architecture and intricate carvings.
  • Lotus Mahal: Explore the beautiful Lotus Mahal, a unique structure reflecting Indo-Islamic architecture with its lotus-shaped design.
  • Vitthala Temple Complex: Marvel at the impressive Vitthala Temple, famous for its stone chariot and musical pillars.
  • Monkey Temple (Hanuman Temple): Climb to this temple located on a hilltop for panoramic views of Hampi and the surrounding landscape.
  • Elephant Stables: Visit the Elephant Stables, a remarkable structure built to house the royal elephants, showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture.

DAY 3 - Hampi to Badami Transfer

  • Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer to Badami: Depart for Badami, a 3.5-hour journey through scenic landscapes.
  • Hotel Check-in: Upon arrival in Badami, check in to your hotel and relax.
  • Badami Exploration: Spend the evening exploring the sights of Badami.
  • Sightseeing Points:
  • Agastya Lake: Visit Agastya Lake, known for its healing properties, surrounded by temples and scenic views.
  • Badami Cave Temples: Explore the remarkable sandstone cave temples, famous for their exquisite carvings and ancient architecture.
  • Bhutanatha Temple: Visit this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located by the lake.
  • Badami Fort: Take a short trek to the Badami Fort, which offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding hills.
  • Shri Banashankari Shakti Peetham: Visit this sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Banashankari, known for its beautiful architecture.

DAY 4 - Badami - Aihole - Pattakadal - Badami

  • Transfer to Aihole: Depart for Aihole, which is about a 45-minute drive away.
  • Sightseeing Points:
  • Aihole: Known as the cradle of Indian temple architecture, explore the numerous temples and ruins that showcase Dravidian architecture. Visit the Durga Temple and Buddhist Monuments.
  • Museum and Art Gallery: Don’t miss the Aihole Archaeological Museum, which displays many sculptures and artifacts from the region.
  • Transfer to Pattadakal: Proceed to Pattadakal, famous for its 7th and 8th-century temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Sightseeing Points:
