Tour Plan

DAY 1 - Mangalore Airport to Coorg

  • Arrive at Mangalore Airport/Railway Station in the morning/afternoon.
  • Transfer to Coorg (approx. 4.5-hour drive).
  • Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.
  • Relax and unwind after your journey.
  • Explore the local market in your free time.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 2 - Coorg Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Coorg:
    • Omkareshwar Temple, known for its unique blend of Islamic and Gothic architecture.
    • Abbey Falls, surrounded by lush coffee plantations.
    • Madikeri Fort, offering panoramic views and insights into Coorg’s history.
    • Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can interact with and learn about elephants.
    • Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery), a significant Buddhist temple with beautiful architecture.
    • Honnamana Kere Lake, a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery.
  • Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay..

 

DAY 3 - Coorg to Mysore Transfer

  • After breakfast, depart for Mysore (approx. 4-hour drive).
  • Check in to your Mysore hotel upon arrival.
  • Spend the evening at leisure or explore the Devaraja Market, famous for spices, sandalwood, and silk.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 4 - Mysore Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Mysore:
    • Mysore Palace, a grand royal residence with intricate designs and rich history.
    • Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, home to a variety of animals in a naturalistic environment.
    • Sri Chamundeshwari Ammanavara Temple, located on Chamundi Hill with stunning views.
    • Melody World Wax Museum, showcasing musical instruments and wax figures.
    • Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, a haven for bird watchers with serene boat rides.
  • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 5 - Mysore to Ooty Transfer

  • After breakfast, depart for Ooty (approx. 7-hour drive).

DAY 6 - Ooty and Coonoor Sightseeing
