Tour Plan
DAY 1:
- Upon arrival at Jodhpur airport or railway station, meet the representative/driver and check into your hotel.
- Visit Umaid Bhavan Palace, the residence of Jodhpur's royal family, situated at the highest point in the city.
- Explore Mehrangarh Fort, walking through its ornate corridors and palaces while learning about Rajputana history, then visit the nearby royal cenotaphs, Jaswant Thada.
- In the evening, enjoy shopping at Sardar Market, also known as the Clock Tower Market, before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jodhpur.
DAY 2:
- After breakfast, board your transfer to Jaisalmer, the Golden City.
- Visit the Jaisalmer War Memorial, which pays tribute to war heroes and the evolution of the Indian Army.
- After lunch, check into a desert camp at Sam Sand Dunes and experience a camel ride.
- Enjoy a stunning sunset over the Thar Desert's golden sands and spend the night in Swiss tents.
DAY 3:
- After breakfast, begin the day by visiting the haunted Kuldhara, known as India's Ghost Village, abandoned mysteriously overnight.
- Explore the Jaisalmer Fort, the only living fort in India, also called Sonar Qilla for its golden-yellow sandstone shimmer.
- Visit Patwon ki Haveli, a grand mansion with intricate wall paintings, mirror work, and stunning balconies offering views of the fort and desert.
- In the evening, enjoy a serene sunset at Gadisar Lake before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
DAY 4:
- After breakfast, pack your bags and board your transfers back to Jodhpur.
- The tour concludes with a drop-off at Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
