Tour Plan
Day 1:
- Arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and meet the driver/representative.
- Board transfers to Munnar, a renowned hill station in Kerala.
- Stop briefly at the 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall on the way.
- Upon reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and rest for the night with an overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2:
- Start your day with breakfast in Munnar and visit Eravikulam National Park (closed from Jan 21 to April 15), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
- After lunch, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea plantations and processing.
- Stop at Photo Point, drive through scenic tea plantations, and visit Mattupetty Dam.
- If time allows, visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Blossoms Hydel Park before returning to the hotel.
Day 3:
- After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, known as the "Venice of the East," to experience its stunning backwaters.
- Admire the intricate waterways, lush green paddy fields, and coconut palms that define Alleppey's scenic beauty.
- Check into your hotel or houseboat upon arrival and enjoy a relaxing evening by the backwaters, possibly taking a boat or Shikara ride to watch the sunset.
- Stay overnight in Alleppey.
Day 4:
- After breakfast, board your transfers for a scenic 4-5 hour drive along the Western Ghats to Kovalam.
- En route, visit the Jatayu Earth Centre to see the world's largest bird sculpture, enjoy the Adventure Park, and take a cable car ride.
- Arrive in Kovalam, check into your hotel, and rest.
- Spend the evening at Kovalam Beach, watch the sunset, and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5:
- After breakfast, start your day exploring Thiruvananthapuram, known for its South Indian cuisine, art scene, and historic landmarks.
- Visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a 16th-century architectural gem dedicated to Lord Vishnu, followed by stops at Trivandrum Zoo, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, and the Science and Technology Museum (note museum closures on Mondays).
- In the evening, visit Kovalam Lighthouse for panoramic ocean views and explore water sports at the beach.
- Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 6:
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare to board your transfers.
- Your tour concludes with a drop-off at Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station.
- Depart with cherished memories from your trip.
