Tour Plan
Day 1:
- On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport/New Jalpaiguri (NJP), you will be greeted by our representative.
- From the airport/station, board our vehicle for a scenic drive to Gangtok.
- En route, enjoy a short stopover at the Triveni View Point, where you can admire the stunning confluence of the Teesta and Rangeet rivers.
- Continue your journey along the meandering roads, flanked by lush landscapes and the Teesta River, making for a picturesque drive.
- Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and unwind from your travels.
- Enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok, preparing for the adventures that lie ahead.
Day 2:
- After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, we will set out for a full-day excursion around Gangtok.
- Our first destination is the glacial Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, renowned for its stunning scenic beauty and vibrant changing colors throughout the year.
- Next, we will drive towards the Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, who is remembered as a brave soldier of the Indian Army.
- From Baba Mandir, you will have the opportunity to hire a taxi to visit Nathula Pass, an important Indo-China border post (subject to availability and additional costs).
- After a day filled with exploration and scenic views, we will return back to Gangtok.
- Enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
Day 3:
- After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your transfer to Pelling, located in the west of Sikkim.
- On the way to Pelling, we will make a short stopover at either Ravangla or Namchi, depending on the route taken.
- If we stop at Ravangla, we will visit Buddha Park, which features a magnificent 130-foot-high Shakyamuni Buddha statue surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and scenic views of the Himalayan ranges.
- Alternatively, if we take the Namchi route, we will explore the Namchi Chardham Complex, where you can see the impressive 108-foot-high statue of Lord Shiva, encircled by replicas of the four sacred shrines of Chardham.
- Continuing our journey, we will drive along scenic roads that offer stunning views of the Kanchenjunga Ranges throughout the trip.
- Upon reaching Pelling, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4:
- Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the beautiful town of Pelling.
- We will begin our local sightseeing by visiting Khecheopalri Lake, also known as the wish-fulfilling lake, renowned for its serene beauty and spiritual significance.
- Next, we will head to the scenic Rimbi Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the natural beauty and the sound of cascading water.
- Afterward, take a leisurely stroll through the Rimbi Orange Garden, which is filled with orange trees, cardamom plants, and various flowering plants.
- Our next stop will be Darap Village, where you can seek peace and connect with nature in this tranquil setting.
- We will then visit India’s Highest Skywalk, located in Pelling, which features the tallest 137-foot Chenrezig statue and offers breathtaking views.
- Following that, we will explore the Rabdentse Ruins, where you can gain insights into the glorious past of Sikkim.
- We will conclude our day’s sightseeing by seeking blessings at the Pemayangtse Monastery, a serene place of worship.
- Return to the hotel in Pelling for an overnight stay.
Day 5:
- Have your breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok and prepare for an exciting day ahead.
- Today, we will transfer you to Darjeeling, renowned as one of the most beautiful hill stations in the Himalayas.
- Enjoy a scenic journey through the curvy mountain roads, taking in breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas in the background.
- As you approach Darjeeling, be greeted by the sight of aromatic tea plantations lining the roads, adding to the charm of the landscape.
- Upon reaching your hotel in Darjeeling, check in and unwind for an overnight stay.
Day 6:
- Your day will begin early at 4 AM as we prepare for an unforgettable experience.
- We will take you to the top of Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga and its neighboring peaks, which change colors beautifully as the morning sun rises.
- After soaking in the stunning views, return to the hotel for breakfast to energize for the day's adventures.
- Later, enjoy a ride on the famous Darjeeling toy train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 2-hour journey will start from Darjeeling, with a 25-minute stop at Ghum Station, and will return via the scenic Batasia Loop.
- At Batasia Loop, the train will halt for 10 minutes at the Army Memorial dedicated to the Gorkha Regiment, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the picturesque Darjeeling hill station and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
- After the toy train ride, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), which includes Tenzing Rock, to learn about the history of mountaineering in India.
- Next, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) to see the endangered Red Pandas and other Himalayan wildlife.
- Enjoy a scenic ropeway ride over lush green tea plantations, taking in stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
- Conclude your sightseeing at the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, where you can meditate and find tranquility in the serene atmosphere.
- Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling, reflecting on the day's amazing experiences.
Day 7:
- Wake up to a beautiful morning in Darjeeling and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel.
- After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
- Your tour concludes as you are dropped off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
