Tour Plan
Day 1:
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station before 2 am and meet the representative.
- Transfer to Kaziranga National Park.
- Check in to your hotel upon reaching Kaziranga.
- Rest for the day.
- Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 2:
- Wake up early and embark on a morning Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park.
- Enjoy the safari, famous for the one-horned Rhino.
- Return to the hotel and have breakfast.
- Board transfers to Shillong.
- Check in to your hotel in Shillong.
- Visit the local market for shopping if time permits.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3:
- Start your day early with breakfast at the hotel.
- Board transfers to Shnonpdeng.
- Take a detour to Laitlum Canyon, featured in “Rock On 2,” and enjoy the views.
- Proceed to Jowai.
- Visit Krang Shuri Waterfall and relax by the blue water pool.
- Continue the journey to Shnonpdeng.
- Arrive in Shnonpdeng by evening.
- Check in to Riverside Camps/ Homestay for an overnight stay.
Day 4:
- Wake up and have breakfast.
- Enjoy water activities in the Umgnot River.
- Drive to Cherrapunji, visiting Mawlynnong village (the cleanest village in Asia) on the way.
- Explore Mawlynnong village.
- Arrive in Cherrapunji by evening.
- Check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Day 5:
- Have breakfast and prepare for the day.
- Travel to Tyrna village to start the trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridges.
- Trek through the forest with a local guide, passing several bridges.
- Explore and admire the Double Decker Living Root Bridges.
- Hike back up 3000 steps to reach the base village.
- Return to Tyrna village and board transfer back to Cherrapunji.
- Check-in to your hotel in Cherrapunji.
8. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji
Day 6:
- Have breakfast and board transfers to Shillong.
- Visit the viewpoint of Nohkalikai Falls and hear the story of Ka Likai.
- Go for a short hike to Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, 14 km from Nohkalikai.
- Admire the three-tiered Wei-Sawdong Falls.
- Drive for 2 hours to Shillong.
- Check in to your hotel in Shillong.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 7:
- Have breakfast and prepare to board transfers to Guwahati.
- Visit Umiam Lake, surrounded by Khasi hills.
- Enjoy a 3-4 hour drive to Guwahati.
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey (flight after 2-3 pm).
- Depart with cherished memories of Meghalaya.
