Tour Plan
Day 1:
- On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP), you will be greeted by our representative.
- From the airport or station, board our vehicle for the journey to Gangtok.
- En route, take a short stopover at the Triveni View Point, where the Teesta and Rangeet rivers converge.
- Enjoy a scenic drive to Gangtok along the meandering roads beside the Teesta River.
- In the evening, you can explore MG Marg at your leisure.
- Upon reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2:
- After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day excursion around Gangtok.
- The first stop will be the glacial Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, famous for its scenic beauty and changing colors.
- Next, we will drive to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Indian Army.
- Following this, you can hire a taxi to visit Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border post (subject to availability and additional cost).
- After the day's exploration, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Day 3:
- After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, get ready for local sightseeing in Gangtok.
- We will start the day by visiting Dro-Dul Chorten, where you can seek the peaceful vibes of the monastery while listening to the chanting of prayers.
- Next, we will head to Tashi View Point to admire the panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu Peaks.
- You will then visit the hilltop temples of Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, both offering mesmerizing views of Gangtok city and the surrounding Kanchenjunga Range.
- Conclude your day’s sightseeing with a visit to Ban Jhankri Falls, where a small park allows you to unwind, indulge in adventure activities, or simply relax by the falls.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4:
- Have your breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok and prepare for the day ahead.
- Today, we will transfer you to Darjeeling, one of the most beautiful hill stations in the Himalayas.
- Travel through the curvy mountain roads, enjoying breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas in the background.
- As you enter Darjeeling, take in the sight of roads lined with aromatic tea plantations.
- Upon reaching your hotel in Darjeeling, complete the check-in process for an overnight stay.
Day 5:
- Today, your day will start early at 4 AM for a spectacular adventure.
- We will take you to the top of Tiger Hill to watch the amazing sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga and its adjoining peaks, which change colors as they are painted by the morning sun's rays.
- After this breathtaking experience, return to the hotel for breakfast.
- Later, enjoy the famous toy train ride of Darjeeling, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 2-hour journey will begin from Darjeeling, with a 25-minute stop at Ghum Station, before returning via the scenic Batasia Loop.
- The train will pause for 10 minutes at Batasia Loop, an Army Memorial dedicated to the Gorkha Regiment, where you can admire a 360-degree panoramic view of the Darjeeling hill station and the majestic Himalayan peaks.
- Upon completing the toy train ride, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), which houses Tenzing Rock, to learn about the history of mountaineering in India.
- Next, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays) to glimpse endangered species like the Red Panda and other Himalayan animals.
- Afterward, enjoy a small ropeway ride over lush green tea plantations, offering stunning views of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks.
- Conclude your sightseeing by visiting the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, where you can sit and meditate in its serene atmosphere.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 6:
- Wake up to a beautiful morning in Darjeeling and enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, board your transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
