Tour Plan
DAY 1:
1. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi.
2. Meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.
3. In the afternoon, start exploring Hanoi by visiting the famous Train Street.
4. Next, visit Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, which houses the Complex of Ho Chi Minh.
5. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, and his fish pond.
6. Visit the Japanese-style One-Pillar Pagoda.
7. Finally, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on a small peninsula on the East side of West Lake, the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with a history of more than 1,500 years.
DAY 2:
1. After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam's most popular tourist destinations.
2. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, check in for a 4-hour day cruise.
3. Enjoy a scenic cruise on a traditional Vietnamese junk boat through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of the bay.
4. Stop to explore some of the many caves and grottoes that dot the bay.
5. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board.
6. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
7. Overnight stay at Hanoi.
DAY 3:
1. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang.
2. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel (the normal check-in time is 14:00-15:00).
3. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
4. Overnight stay at Da Nang.
DAY 4:
1. Post breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an interesting day.
2. At 9:00 AM, board your transfers to visit Marble Mountains.
3. Climb Thuy Son (Water Mountain) by the carved stone stairs to reach the top and enjoy the panoramic views of the countryside.
4. Visit one of the most beautiful cave temples in Da Nang - the Huyen Khong Cave.
5. Explore the ancient pagodas located in this water mountain - the Tam Thai and the Linh Ung pagodas.
6. Enter the main cave and admire the beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under the natural shaft of light.
Day 5:
1. After breakfast, travel to Ba Na Hill, a French-inspired hill station that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and coast.
2. Ride the world's longest cable car to the top of the hill.
3. Explore the various attractions, including the Golden Bridge, Fantasy Park, and Linh Ung Pagoda.
4. Enjoy activities and games in Fantasy Park.
5. In the late afternoon, take the cable car back to the foothill.
6. Return to Da Nang in the evening.
7. Overnight stay at Da Nang.
DAY 6:
1. After having your breakfast at the hotel, board your transfers to the airport.
2. From Danang airport, take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, also called Saigon, located in the south of Vietnam.
3. Upon reaching Ho Chi Minh airport, you will be welcomed by the local tour guide, who will transfer you to downtown.
4. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.
5. Overnight stay in Saigon.
DAY 7:
1. After breakfast, check out and take a morning drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
2. Explore the tunnels and learn about their history and significance.
3. Crawl into a short section of the tunnels to experience the narrowness and heat inside.
4. After visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, transfer to the airport for your departure flight by 14:30 hrs.
