Tour Plan

Day 1:

  1. Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, complete the immigration process and meet the local guide.
  2. Board your transfer to the hotel in Hanoi and rest.
  3. In the afternoon, begin a half-day city tour starting from Ba Dinh Square, the heart of Hanoi.
  4. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, house-on-stilts, fishpond, and the Japanese One-Pillar Pagoda.
  5. Explore the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam.
  6. Enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake).
  7. Wander through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience local life.

Day 2:

  1. Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the hotel and prepare for an exciting day.
  2. Drive 90 km south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, the historic ancient capital of Vietnam.
  3. Take a boat ride through the stunning Tam Coc Caves, known as “Halong Bay on Land,” with limestone karsts amidst lush paddy fields.
  4. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
  5. Visit Hoa Lu, the site of the former kings' palace from the 10th century.
  6. Marvel at the intricate wooden reliefs of the Dinh and Le temples.
  7. Conclude the exploration of Ninh Binh with a visit to the serene Bich Dong Pagoda.

Day 3:

  1. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and prepare for the day.
  2. Board your transfer to Halong Bay, a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  3. Enjoy a 3.5-hour road journey through the picturesque Vietnamese countryside to Tuan Chau Marina.
  4. Board your lunch cruise for a 4-hour exploration of Halong Bay, also known as the "Descending Dragon" Bay.
  5. Marvel at uniquely shaped limestone and karst formations, including Sail Island, Fisherman's Head Rock, Butterfly Rock, and Turtle Islet.
  6. Stop by caves and pass by floating houses during the cruise.
  7. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard before heading back to the mainland.

Day 4:

  1. After breakfast at the hotel, get ready and check out.
  2. Transfer to the airport (without a guide) for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the most dynamic city in Vietnam.
  3. Fly to Saigon and meet your local tour guide outside the airport for your transfer to the downtown area.
  4. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up.
  5. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring major landmarks of the city, such as the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office.
  6. In the evening, enjoy a shopping spree at Ben Thanh Market.

Day 5:

  1. Post breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.
  2. Explore this historic site, a 200 km underground network used for soldier movement during the Vietnam War.
  3. Watch a short introduction video about the tunnel's construction upon arrival.
  4. Crawl into a short section of the tunnels to experience their oppressive narrowness and heat.
  5. Visit various features of the tunnel network, including trap doors, storage facilities, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.
  6. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant after returning from the tunnels.
  7. Head back to Saigon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6:

  1. Have breakfast in the morning and pack your bags.
  2. Board your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Saigon).
  3. Your amazing Vietnam tour concludes upon arrival at the airport for your onward journey.
  4. Take back many memories to cherish for a lifetime.
