Tour Plan
DAY 1:
1. Arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and meet the driver/representative.
2. Board transfers to Munnar, a renowned hill station in Kerala.
3. Stop briefly at the 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall on the way.
4. Upon reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and rest for the night with an overnight stay in Munnar.
DAY 2:
1. Start your day with breakfast in Munnar and visit Eravikulam National Park (closed from Jan 21 to April 15), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
2. After lunch, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea plantations and processing.
3. Stop at Photo Point, drive through scenic tea plantations, and visit Mattupetty Dam.
4. If time allows, visit Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Blossoms Hydel Park before returning to the hotel.
DAY 3:
1. After breakfast, board your transfers for a 3-hour road journey through the Western Ghats to Thekkady.
2. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and head out for sightseeing.
3. Visit the scenic Periyar Lake, located in the heart of Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve.
4. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dance performance at Kadathanadan Kalari Center, followed by an overnight stay in Thekkady.
DAY 4:
1. After breakfast, board your transfers for a 4-5 hour scenic drive through Kerala's coastal landscapes to Alleppey.
2. Upon arrival in Alleppey, board your houseboat and relax for the day.
3. Spend the evening enjoying leisure time by the backwaters and watching the sunset.
4. End the day with a dinner on the houseboat, followed by an overnight stay in Alleppey.
DAY 5:
1. After breakfast, board your transfers for a scenic 4-5 hour drive along the Western Ghats to Kovalam.
2. En route, visit the Jatayu Earth Centre to see the world's largest bird sculpture, enjoy the Adventure Park, and take a cable car ride.
3. Arrive in Kovalam, check into your hotel, and rest.
4. Spend the evening at Kovalam Beach, watch the sunset, and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6:
1. After breakfast, start your day exploring Thiruvananthapuram, known for its South Indian cuisine, art scene, and historic landmarks.
2. Visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a 16th-century architectural gem dedicated to Lord Vishnu, followed by stops at Trivandrum Zoo, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, and the Science and Technology Museum (note museum closures on Mondays).
3. In the evening, visit Kovalam Lighthouse for panoramic ocean views and explore water sports at the beach.
4. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.
DAY 7:
1. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare to board your transfers.
2. Your tour concludes with a drop-off at Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station.
3. Depart with cherished memories from your trip.
