Tour Plan
DAY 1:
- Arrive at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our driver/representative.
- Get transferred to your hotel in Kochi.
- After freshening up, visit Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue (closed on Saturdays & Jewish holidays), St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Chinese Fishing Nets as time permits.
- Enjoy the picturesque sunset at the beach.
- Spend time shopping at Lulu International Shopping Mall.
- Overnight stay in Kochi.
DAY 2:
1. Have breakfast in the morning and start early to visit Athirapally Falls, the largest waterfall in Kerala.
2. Explore the 80 ft high and 330 ft wide Athirapally Falls, also known as Bahubali Waterfall (climbing is not advisable for small children and older people).
3. Afterwards, begin your journey towards Munnar, with a short stopover at the cascading 7-tiered Cheeyyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall.
4. Upon reaching Munnar, check in to the hotel and rest for the day or spend your time at leisure.
5. Overnight stay in Munnar.
DAY 3:
1. Wake up to a beautiful morning in Munnar, have your breakfast, and get ready for the day.
2. Start by visiting Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (closed from 21st Jan to 15th April).
3. After lunch in Munnar, visit the Tea Museum to explore the history of tea plantations and processing.
4. Stop at Photo Point and drive through scenic tea plantations to visit the Mattupetty Dam, surrounded by green rolling hills.
5. In the evening, you can attend a traditional dance performance at the Thirumeny Cultural Centre, Munnar (Timings: 5 to 7 pm).
6. Overnight stay in Munnar.
DAY 4:
1. Post breakfast, drive to Alleppey, known as the Venice of the East, to experience the scenic beauty of Kerala's backwaters.
2. Alleppey is famous for its diverse water bodies, intricate inland waterways, lush green paddy fields, and coconut palms that line the backwaters.
3. Upon reaching Alleppey, board your hotel or houseboat.
4. Spend a beautiful evening by the backwaters, relaxing and watching a stunning sunset. You can opt for a boat or Shikara ride to enhance the experience.
5. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
DAY 5:
1. Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your return transfer to Cochin.
2. Your tour concludes as you are dropped off at Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey (ensure your departure is after 1 pm).
3. Depart with a bag full of happy memories.
